Network And Server Administrator
Under the direction of an assigned administrator, support highly complex multi-platform network and server systems; plan, develop, and implement county-wide networking and server solutions in support of Madera County Superintendent of Schools (MCSOS) and Madera County school districts; plan and execute the administration and maintenance of network services to include various servers, VoIP systems, cloud services, data backup, and restoration services. Create and execute various scripting languages to automate processes with databases and various applications.
Any combination equivalent to: Associate's Degree in Computer Science or closely related field and three years of network administration experience managing multiple Windows and Linux Server environment. Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Two years of experience with cloud-based services, SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS. Three years of experience with advanced network configuration and installation. Microsoft and COMPTIA server + certifications are preferred. Cisco CCNA, CCDP preferred. Must pass network proficiency test. MCSE, Server +, certifications preferred. Possession of a valid California Class C driver's license. Incumbents must be insurable by the liability carrier for the Madera County Superintendent of Schools.
