Distribution Associate 2nd Shift

Distribution Associate: Freeport, Illinois

Our customer in Freeport, Illinois, is looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Distribution Associate to work full-time on 2nd shift. In this role, you will support distribution and warehouse operations by preparing, organizing, and moving materials safely and efficiently to meet shipping and business goals.

Responsibilities of the Distribution Associate:

Prepare, organize, and move materials for storage and shipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Operate a forklift for material movement for approximately 50% of the workday.

Load, unload, and stage materials to support distribution and production needs.

Verify materials and ensure accuracy when preparing shipments.

Maintain organization of warehouse and storage areas.

Follow safety procedures and work instructions at all times.

Distribution Associate Requirements and Qualifications:

Minimum of one (1) year forklift experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

Basic computer skills for limited desk or system work.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Pay for Distribution Associate:

$18.50/hour.
