Forklift Operator 2nd Shift

Forklift Operator: Lena, Illinois

Our customer in Lena, Illinois, is looking for a dependable, safety-focused individual to join their team as a Forklift Operator to work full-time on 2nd shift. In this role, you will support warehouse operations by operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks, handling materials, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator:

Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently.

Use an electric pallet jack to transport products as needed.

Work in a warehouse cooler environment for extended periods of time.

Learn and use a basic SAP scanner to track materials and inventory.

Assist with general warehouse cleanup and organization.

Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.

Support warehouse operations and assist with additional tasks as assigned.

Forklift Operator Requirements and Qualifications:

Previous forklift experience required.

Ability to work in a cooler environment for several hours at a time.

Ability to stand, bend, squat, reach, and lift throughout the shift.

Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. occasionally.

Ability to push or pull materials using carts when required.

Willingness to learn new systems and processes, including SAP scanning.

Reliable attendance and flexibility to work weekends as needed.

Pay for Forklift Operator:

$22.50/hour
