Forklift Operator

Our customer in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Forklift Operators to work full-time on 2nd shift.

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely transporting materials, supporting production, and assisting with shipping and receiving operations.

Responsibilities of the Forklift Operator:

Operate powered industrial trucks to move raw materials, finished goods, and supplies throughout the facility.

Load and unload trucks and trailers, ensuring materials are handled safely and accurately.

Provide raw or WHIP stock to production machines according to production schedules.

Stack and organize goods in storage areas following inventory control procedures.

Check loads for stability and secure them properly before transport.

Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.

Remove machine attachments, waste material, and empty pallets from work areas.

Assist with shipping and receiving, including order picking and preparing materials for shipment.

Monitor materials for quality compliance and report discrepancies to supervisors.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.

Forklift Operator Requirements and Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Forklift certification per OSHA standards.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate warehouse equipment safely.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to a safe work environment.

Basic computer skills; experience with RF scanners preferred.

Clean driving record and valid state motor vehicle operator’s license.

Pay for Forklift Operator:

$19-$22/hr.

Type: 2nd Shift, Full-time

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm. OT on Saturdays as needed. Occasional schedule adjustments 3:00pm – 11:00pm.
