Therapist Position

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and adolescents aged 7-17? NSBH is on the lookout for a dedicated therapist to join our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), Monday - Friday!

What You'll Do:

Manage a caseload of 8-10 kids.

Provide individual and family therapy sessions weekly

Offer groups daily

Collaborate with internal and external team members to ensure successful discharge

What You'll Love:

Work with youth facing a variety of diagnoses.

Help them transition safely back into the community.

Utilize your strong time management and organizational skills.

Qualifications:

A minimum of a Master's Degree in human services field (i.e. psychology, social work, counseling, education).

Prefered: Licensed in the state of Virginia (LPC, LCSW, LMFT or a Licensed Psychologist). Or, must be resident in counseling.

Preference given to candidates with CSOTP and/or CSAC.

Some experience with children/adolescents.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Subject to pre-employment drug screen and criminal background investigation.
