Financial Program Controls Analyst
The Naval Shipboard Portfolio has an immediate opening for a Financial Program Controls Analyst on the Naval Standard Missile Systems (NSMS) program within the newly created Growth organization. This role directly supports the new Munitions Acceleration contract and related efforts. This position provides a tremendous growth opportunity for an ambitious individual to partner with the program leadership team, which includes Program Managers, technical leads, and functional support. In addition, you will provide the opportunity to increase exposure to multiple facets of finance and the overall organization.
The position will support early contract planning activities including management of a large internal investment, technology refresh efforts, obsolescence mitigation strategy, long-lead material planning, and baseline development for the upcoming contract period. This is an opportunity to influence financial execution strategy at the outset of a new production phase while building upon an established record of performance.
This position is currently designated as Hybrid. The successful candidate will be required to work from one of the following Raytheon locations with occasional travel to our Tucson location: Tucson AZ, Huntsville, AL, Aurora, CO, Indianapolis, IN, Forest, MS, McKinney, TX or Tewksbury, MA.
What You Will Do
The selected candidate will operate with independence and exercise sound judgment in forecasting, risk identification, and financial planning.
Provide thorough cost and schedule analysis.
Coordinate the development of quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC).
Provide financial guidance and solutions to Program Team and Leads.
Prepare finance charts for Program Management Reviews, monthly operating reviews, financial overviews and other reporting activities as required.
Provide cost, schedule, financial analysis/reporting, funding planning, maintenance utilizing standard company tools and processes.
Implementation and Maintenance of Earned Value Management.
Provide financial guidance and solutions to Program Team and Leads.
Contribute to the development and delivery of Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs).
Establish and maintain program logs (Work Authorization, Contract Mod Log, R&Os).

How to shape financial execution strategy at the outset of a major production contract phase within a mature defense portfolio.
Advanced forecasting and EAC methodologies across a complex, multi-year production environment.
Integration of technology refresh and obsolescence mitigation into established production baselines.
Long-lead material planning and funding strategy in coordination with Supply Chain and Operations.
Executive-level communication of program financial performance and risk posture.
Cross-functional influence within a matrixed organization supporting large-scale defense production.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience is required.
Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain) in program development and execution.
Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
