Chiropractic Assistant
Community Health Care Systems, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chiropractic Assistant to join our team in Sandersville, GA. As part of our integrated care model at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), this role supports chiropractic care delivery by assisting with clinical tasks, coordinating patient flow, and ensuring accurate documentation within our EHR system.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Chiropractor with patient care, including positioning and therapeutic support.
Take and record patient vitals such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
Assist with administering therapeutic modalities as directed (e.g., heat packs, electrical stimulation, ultrasound).
Prepare treatment areas and equipment before and after each patient visit.
Maintain smooth patient flow and help manage appointment scheduling as needed.
Accurately update and maintain patient records in EClinicalWorks EHR System.
Support Communication between the chiropractor, patients, and other clinical team members.
Ensure cleanliness, organization, and readiness of chiropractic exam/treatment spaces.
Perform other clinical and administrative tasks as assigned to support the chiropractic and broader medical team.
Preferred Qualification:
Prior experience in a medical or chiropractic office setting.
Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical procedures.
Experience with eClinicalWorks or another electronic health records system.
Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Basic computer proficiency.
Willingness to be trained in chiropractic care procedures and therapeutic modalities.
