The Sullivan medical clinic is a well-established, multi-disciplinary group providing family, internal, and OB care.Preferred QualificationsRole Purpose The physician will deliver professional medical services within their specialty, focusing on direct patient care while also dedicating time to complete medical records, provide MyChart consultations, manage in-basket tasks, conduct patient-specific education, and collaborate with advanced practice providers and care team members.Responsibilities Oversee the medical care of a patient panel by providing or arranging inpatient hospital care, either through regular hospital rounds or by coordinating with hospitalists or other qualified physicians.
Work collaboratively with patients, families, and care team members to ensure optimal patient care outcomes at designated clinic locations and any other BJC clinical outreach sites as needed.
Document medical histories and physical examinations in patients' medical records as mandated by hospital bylaws.
Provide or arrange call coverage for clinic patients and inpatient care in accordance with BJC policies and Medical Staff bylaws.
Collaborate with and mentor advanced practice providers, support staff, or any team members involved in the care of the physician's patient panel.
