Portfolio Manager
The incumbent shall be primarily responsible for supporting the portfolio managers in managing, monitoring and maintaining the Bank’s discretionary portfolios and APS Funds SICAV range of funds as per investment management agreements.
He/She will also be expected to develop and research new investment ideas, perform continuing due diligence on existing investments and deal in financial securities. Advising APS private clients may also be needed from time to time.
Operational Responsibilities
Act as secondary portfolio manager on designated portfolios.
Ensure portfolios are in line with internal and external compliance standards.
Actively participate and engage in client acquisition and retention strategies.
Prepare and present regular reports on portfolio performance.
Conduct ad-hoc research on a macro & micro level on investment themes as required/ requested by management.
Actively participate in the internal investment committee meetings or other working groups tasked with providing investment strategy advice both on a macro and micro level.
Actively monitor/project funds, portfolios cash flow and NAV Validation
Service ad hoc requests from discretionary clients
Trade and/or deal in financial assets and securities as may be required in order to implement the investment strategy of funds and portfolios
General Responsibilities

To ensure compliance with Bank’s policies, guidelines and underlying procedures at all times.
To carry out general administrative duties required to keep the smooth operations of the Investment Management Department.
Qualifications, Skills & Competencies
Mandatory
Skill
Ability to think analytically and perform strongly under pressure.
Ability to present to internal and external clients in a clear and eloquent manner.
Being customer and business driven with a focus on growing the bottom line.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Microsoft Office and Bloomberg Terminal.
Experience
At least five years of proven experience in in Portfolio Management, trade recommendation and execution.
Qualification
First degree in a numerical or business-related subject.

Ability to challenge the status and point out to areas that need improvement.
