Our client, a reputable, established company is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team as a full-time employee. Although this is a remote position, you will need to be based out of Texas, as there will be 75% travel primarily in TX and the surrounding states. There will be occasional travel to IL and Canada (few times a year). As a Business Development Manager, you will handle the growth of powdered coating sales in medium to large OEMs, support the regionalized Focus Application Target Group, provide assistance to the Sales team to overcome obstacles and reach common goals, as well as support the Great Place to Work environment. * 5+ years of Business Development experience.

* Must have Powder Coating industry, not just Liquid Coating experience.

* Experience with both building and managing key accounts (large OEM's). A current Texas-based book of business would be preferred, so you can hit the ground running.

* Ability to work out of a home office.

* Strong presentation, communication, customer service and organization skills.

* Strong Microsoft Office and Contact Management Software skills.

* Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, primarily in the Texas Region. Travel to IL and Canada a few times a year.
