Forklift Driver

Job Description

We are a warehouse located in Jamestown, SC. The forklift driver is responsible for safely operating a sit-down forklift to handle materials efficiently within the warehouse during day shifts. Reporting to the warehouse supervisor, this role involves loading, unloading, and transporting goods while adhering to safety standards and maintaining load stability. The position offers opportunities for advancement through cross-training in other warehouse functions.

Responsibilities

Operate sit-down forklift for material handling and warehouse navigation

Load and unload shipments while ensuring load stability

Maintain compliance with safety policies and procedures

Complete required documentation accurately and timely

Coordinate with team members to optimize workflow

Preferred Qualifications

Entry-level experience in warehouse operations

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, but not needed)

Knowledge of forklift operation and warehouse safety

Skills in load securing and inventory management

Basic mechanical knowledge

Strong communication and attention to detail
