Bus / Motorcoach Driver
Position Overview
Coach Canada is seeking professional and safety-focused Bus / Motorcoach Driver to support both scheduled line-run services and charter operations. This role is critical to delivering reliable transportation across fixed routes while also providing customized travel experiences for charter clients, including corporate groups, tours, and special events. Drivers serve as front-line ambassadors of the organization, ensuring every journey is safe, efficient, and aligned with our service standards.

Bus / Motorcoach Driver Key Responsibilities
Safely operate motorcoaches (up to 45 feet) in all weather and traffic conditions
Follow assigned routes, schedules, and dispatch instructions
Conduct pre-trip, and post-trip vehicle inspections
Provide courteous, professional customer service to passengers
Assist passengers with luggage and accessibility needs, including wheelchair securement
Accurately complete driver logs, reports, and fare reconciliation
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams
Comply with all company policies, safety procedures, and transportation regulations
Bus / Motorcoach Driver Qualifications
Legally entitled to work in Canada
Valid Ontario Class BZ licence with Z endorsement
Clean driver’s abstract and strong safety record
Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience (motorcoach preferred)
Ability to obtain and maintain MTO medical clearance
Valid passport and eligibility for U.S. cross-border travel
Ability to meet DOT/FMCSA requirements
Fluent spoken and written English required to ensure safe communication with passengers, dispatch, and emergency services
Customer service experience an asset
Compliance Requirements: This is a safety-sensitive position. All drivers are required to participate in and comply with applicable drug and alcohol testing programs, including pre-employment, random, post-incident, and reasonable cause testing as required under applicable regulations, including U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements for cross-border operations. Compliance with all testing protocols and reporting obligations is a condition of employment.
Bus / Motorcoach Driver Physical & Scheduling Requirements
Ability to lift luggage (30–50 lbs.) and meet physical demands of commercial driving
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and variable shifts
Ability to support a 24/7/365 operation
