#Key Responsibilities:

Campus Network Design & Implementation

• Implement end to end campus network designs including core, distribution, and access layers.

• Configure and deploy LAN infrastructure (VLANs, routing, L2/L3 architecture, redundancy protocols, etc.).

• Validate high level designs (HLD) and convert them into detailed low level designs (LLD) suitable for deployment.

• Perform site surveys, capacity planning, and network readiness assessments.

Wired Network Deployment

• Deploy and configure switches (access, distribution, core) based on campus architecture.

• Configure STP, VLANs, EtherChannel, routing protocols (OSPF/EIGRP/BGP based on design).

• Integrate campus switching infrastructure with existing enterprise networks.

• Perform switch cutovers and migration activities with clear rollback planning.

Wireless Network Deployment

• Conduct wireless site surveys (AP-on-a-stick, predictive surveys, placement validation).

• Install and configure wireless access points, controllers, and wireless LAN services.

• Optimize RF performance, channel planning, power levels, and roaming.

• Deploy secure wireless authentication mechanisms and user segmentation policies.

Rollout & Migration Execution

• Execute standardized rollout procedures across multiple sites or regions.

• Perform pre deployment checks, post implementation validation, and end to end testing.

• Troubleshoot wired/wireless issues during migration and stabilization phases.

• Coordinate with field teams for cabling, installation, and physical readiness.

Documentation & Handover

• Prepare deployment diagrams, LLDs, as-built documents, and migration plans.

• Maintain site documentation, inventory, and topology updates.

• Provide knowledge transfer (KT) and handover packages to operations/NOC teams.

Cross Team Collaboration

• Work closely with network architects, wireless SMEs, security teams, and vendors.

• Provide input into network design decisions based on field learnings and best practices.

• Participate in project meetings, technical workshops, and onsite rollout coordination.
