Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on Human Resources Generalist to support HR Managers across multiple locations. This role focuses on employee relations support, HR operations, compliance, and manager training in both union and nonunion environments.
What you will do:
Support employee relations issues and investigations
Respond to employee and manager HR inquiries
Prepare job change letters and maintain job descriptions
Review background check results
Conduct exit interviews and analyze trends
Track compliance training and certifications
Maintain accurate employee records
Train new managers on HR processes
Support compensation, benefits, leave, and performance processes
Desired Skill Set:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
3 to 4 years in an HR coordination or generalist role
Experience supporting union and non union workforces
Strong knowledge of FMLA, CFRA, ADA, and FLSA
Strong documentation and organizational skills
Comfortable in fast paced, deadline driven environments
High level of discretion and professionalism
Compensation
$28.00/hr- 32.00/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
