Job Description

Are you a hard-working, process-driven painter searching for a new opportunity at our hotel? You might be a great fit for our team. Our painters perform a variety of tasks such as assembling scaffolding, surface preparation, sanding down old paint, filling in drywall holes, mixing paint colors, and painting our hotel.

$17 - $20 hourly

Responsibilities:

Treat painted surfaces with primer or sealer

Leave the work area clean once the project has been completed

Protect trim, floors, fixtures, and furniture from paint using drop cloths and covers

Build scaffolding when needed

Mix paint or stains to customer’s specification

Qualifications:

Applicants that are detail-oriented and possess strong time management and communications are preferred

Driver’s license required

Knowledge of basic painting materials and tools is preferred, but we will provide training

Physical strength, stamina to stand for long periods of time, and dexterity is required

We prefer candidates with 2 years work experience and a completed apprenticeship, but not required
