Job Description
We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our team!
We have a large project to construct in Pickerington, OH and are actively seeking a qualified candidate to act as our onsite Superintendent. The project duration is approximately 10 months; however, our client is building multiple facilities in the Midwest and there is potential for continued employment if you would be willing to travel.
Our Site Superintendents are vital to the completion of all projects. They will be the point person for all on site activities and will be responsible for the successful completion of a specific project(s). They must possess excellent organizational and communication skills and a knowledge of the complete construction process.
Their duties will include but not be limited to:
Oversee the construction operations on a daily basis
Sub-contractor Coordination
Scheduling
Budget and Cost Control
Bidding and Award as needed
Inspections and interaction with the governing Municipality
Site Safety
Quality Control
Participation on weekly Client update calls
· Interaction with various clients, design professionals and consultants
· Review all plans and specifications for assigned projects
Maintain and update project schedules
Review, evaluate and negotiate construction contracts and change orders with sub-contractors
Maintain SFV safety protocols
Maintain Quality control
· Utilize Procore, Smartsheet and Microsoft Office for all reporting and job tracking - Will train on our software
Qualifications:
Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
Familiarity with construction management software
Strong leadership qualities
Strong negotiation skills
