Job Description

Industrial mechanic

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

Disassembly of industrial gearboxes and equipment

Visual and dimensional inspection to determine status of components

Generate reports detailing inspection findings

Assembly and testing of reconditioned equipment

Skills and Qualifications

Proper use of micrometers, dial indicators, and similar measuring instruments to .001"

Work with hand and power tools

Safe rigging and use of overhead cranes

Proper use of torches to remove interference fitted components

Operation of pullers, presses and disassembly equipment

General mechanics knowledge

Familiarity with an industrial shop environment

Forklift operations

Adhere to company safe work policies

Job Type: Full-time - Regular work hours: 7am - 3:30pm M-F

Pay Range: $22 - $26/hour depending on experience
