Executive Chef - Pan-Asian Fast Casual Restaurant - Jackson, NJ

Bao is a new kosher Pan-Asian fast casual restaurant opening in Jackson, New Jersey in April 2026.

Our focus is primarily Chinese cuisine, along with select dishes from other Asian cuisines and a sushi program.

We are building a high-quality, efficient concept from the ground up.

We are looking for a full-time Executive Chef to help build and lead the kitchen from day one.

This role includes developing recipes and menus, hiring and training staff, creating systems and SOPs, overseeing food safety, managing inventory and food costs, and setting the overall culinary standard for the restaurant.

Qualifications • Proven experience as an Executive Chef • Strong background in Asian cuisine, especially Chinese • Sushi experience preferred • Experience across multiple Asian cuisines is a plus • Strong knowledge of food safety, kitchen systems, and inventory management • Strong leadership and problem-solving ability • Comfortable in a fast casual environment Compensation Salary range: $100,000–$150,000 per year, plus bonuses.
