Mechanical Engineer (Outside Harare)

Our client is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate and overally supervise all mechanical installations and maintenance activities.

Design, develop, test, maintain and modify existing and new mechanical systems.

Generate and upgrade standard operating procedures as related to equipment and machinery at hand.

Work with projects team to ensure that engineering standards are maintained and that total life cycle costs are considered in project delivery.

Working on boiler pressure parts and draught plant ( large fans and rotary air heaters).

Develop, lead and implement the delivery of reliability engineering services across through developing maintenance engineering improvement strategies, work practices and methods to achieve operational improvements and efficiencies.

Key Skills:

Ability to analyse problems, identify solutions, project consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations in support of goals.

Experience in a coal fired power station is an advantage.

Experience with boiler pressure parts is an advantage.

Qualifications:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
