MRI Technologist - Long Term Care

Ozark Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our team at our long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, monitoring patients, and collaborating with our healthcare team to provide accurate diagnostic imaging services. Key Responsibilities:

Operate MRI equipment, ensuring proper adjustments and maintenance to guarantee accurate imaging results.

Monitor patients during MRI procedures, observing vital signs and providing immediate assistance when needed.

Administer contrast media as required, following established protocols and safety guidelines.

Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to provide accurate diagnostic information.

Maintain detailed records of MRI procedures and patient information, ensuring compliance with facility policies and regulatory guidelines.

Participate in quality control activities and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance imaging services and patient care.

Stay current with advancements in MRI technology and best practices through ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or MRI Technologist Program, including required clinical hours.

Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.

State licensure as required.

Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and guidelines.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
