BG Staffing is seeking a highly experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for a 92-unit community in Columbus, Ohio. This technician will be the ONLY maintenance professional onsite, so we need someone who is confident, self-directed, and able to manage the property's maintenance needs independently.

This role is ideal for a seasoned tech who does not require daily direction, can prioritize tasks, and takes ownership of the entire maintenance operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle all aspects of maintenance operations independently

Complete unit turns/make-readies from start to finish

Manage and complete all work orders in a timely manner

Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and light HVAC

Maintain grounds and common areas

Identify issues proactively and keep the property running smoothly

Communicate effectively with management and vendors as needed

Requirements:

Extensive apartment or residential maintenance experience REQUIRED

Must be comfortable working alone onsite with no additional maintenance support

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work independently

Reliable, dependable, and accountable

Own basic hand tools preferred

Position Details:

Pay: $22/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
