Description We are seeking an Associate Technical Trainer to support the delivery of hands on technical training for telecom and data center environments.
This role focuses on assisting with classroom and field based instruction, supporting curriculum delivery, and helping prepare technicians and engineers to work safely and effectively in data center and telecom settings.

Key Responsibilities + Assist with delivering technical training related to telecom infrastructure and data center operations + Support instructor led classroom, lab, and hands on field training sessions + Help prepare training materials, labs, tools, and equipment + Reinforce safety standards, procedures, and best practices + Provide on the job guidance and coaching to trainees + Track attendance, completion, and basic training metrics + Support updates to training content as technologies or standards change Schedule & Work Environment + Full time, day shift + Combination of classroom, lab, and data center floor training + Physical ability to stand, walk data center floors, and lift light equipment as needed Requirements Required Qualifications + 1-3 years of experience in telecom, data center, networking, or related technical roles + Basic knowledge of structured cabling, fiber optics, copper, or data center infrastructure + Comfortable presenting information and working with small groups + Strong communication and organizational skills + Ability to follow and reinforce safety and compliance standards + High school diploma or GED equivalent Preferred Qualifications + Previous experience as a trainer, mentor, lead technician, or field support specialist + Exposure to data center environments (power, cooling, racks, cabling, cross connects) + Familiarity with telecom/networking concepts (fiber splicing, testing, labeling, documentation) + Certifications or coursework in IT, telecom, or data center technologies (a plus, not required) TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
