We are hiring for a Gene Therapy Laboratory Assistant here in the Columbus, Ohio area!

Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience working in a GMP regulated environment with a Bachelors in a Science, or at least 3 years of GMP experience and an Associates' Degree.

This role will primarily be inspecting raw materials and ensuring they match up with their Certificates of Analysis, and will do some raw material sampling.

Shift: 1st shift, Monday - Friday, can start anywhere between 8am-9am Job Description As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and quality of all materials arriving at our state-of-the-art gene therapy manufacturing facility.

You will be responsible for evaluating raw materials and ensuring that they match regulations and requirements.

Responsibilities + Inspect all incoming raw materials for integrity and quality.

+ Match raw material orders to Certificates of Analysis to ensure all information matches (i.e.

it's the right color, quantity, etc.) + Conduct basic tests/inspections on incoming raw materials for identity, purity, potency, and microbial contamination.

+ Communicate with departments to ensure operations have all required inspected materials.

+ Will perform some raw material sampling.

+ Document all necessary activities.

+ Must be comfortable gowning up/wearing PPE in a cleanroom environment.

Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in a scientific field AND at least 1+ years of experience in a GMP regulated environment.

OR + Associate's degree in a scientific field AND at least 3+ years of experience in a GMP regulated environment.

Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
