Job Description:

The Global Salesforce Commercial Platforms IT team is seeking a Principal IT Salesforce Technical Architect to lead scalable Salesforce solutions supporting Pricing & Contracting, including CPQ, pricing management, and contract workflows.

This role will serve as a strategic architecture leader across Salesforce capabilities, defining scalable target architecture, standards, security, integrations, automation, and governance while reducing technical debt and supporting enterprise transformation initiatives.

The candidate will work closely with Commercial and IT stakeholders across Americas, EMEA, and APAC to drive architecture decisions, delivery quality, and globally scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Run discovery sessions and translate business requirements into technical designs

Lead architecture workshops and solution design sessions

Define end-to-end Salesforce architecture across people, process, and technology

Own solution design, configuration, and delivery enablement

Support SIT, UAT, risk management, and successful project delivery

Drive architecture governance and lifecycle decisions

Build and govern architecture standards and best practices

Support admins, developers, and mentor team members

Evaluate new Salesforce products and enhance platform capabilities

Lead enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations and modernization efforts

Required Skills:

Bachelor’s degree

10+ years of total IT experience

5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience (configuration/development)

2+ years in Technical Lead or Architecture role

Strong experience with Salesforce Core Platform

Salesforce Revenue Cloud / CPQ expertise

Pricing & Contracting workflow experience

Strong architecture, design, and governance experience

Preferred Skills:

Agentforce / AI capabilities

Salesforce Data Cloud

Conga / Revenue Cloud

Integration tools like MuleSoft, Informatica Cloud, webMethods, Kafka

Multi-org Salesforce deployments and consolidations

Environment & release management

Active Salesforce certifications
