My client, a 300 bed community facility located about 45 minutes from Greenville, NC and about 50 minutes from Raleigh has a need for ER RNs to join their team. NEW GRADS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY! The shifts are all 12 hr shifts and they have day and night shifts available. The ER Dept has 20 acute beds, 6 Fast Track and 6 Behavioral Health beds.

Job Summary

Under the general supervision of the Manager, Nursing Services, and according to established policies and procedures, coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, acts as a patient/family advocate, and works with other nursing and ancillary personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice. Work is of a very confidential nature. Performs other duties of the department as required.

Education, Training and Experience

Graduation from a Nursing Education program and current NC or multistate RN licensure required. The employee must have the ability to understand, communicate and react effectively to the unique needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. CPR certification required and provided. ACLS is required or must be obtained within 12 months from date of hire.

The City has a population of approximately 42,000 and the county population is approximately 72,000. New subdivisions in the suburbs are constantly being developed, therefore population in these areas is growing more rapidly than that in the inner city. We are about 45 minutes east of Raleigh and about 45 minutes west of Greenville and only about 100 miles from the Coast!
