Job Summary:
The IT Support Intern will learn to use imaging software and assist with preparing computers for G+D users, including configuring Windows systems for new and replacement equipment. Responsibilities include packaging and shipping devices to remote employees, installing and setting up equipment for local staff, wiping decommissioned computers, and updating asset inventory records. The intern will support the IT team as needed, gaining hands-on experience with hardware and software setup while ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout all processes. Duties & Responsibilities:

New Computer Imaging - Deployment
Inventory support
Decomissioned equipment
Requirements Qualifications and Skills:
Working towards a Bachelors degree in:
Information Systems
Specific systems/tools/software nice to haves
Windows Operating system
Outlook
Teams
Highly desired skills (that are not must haves)
Knowledge of Active Directory

Documentation
Plan for first 30-60-90 days:
First 60 days will be allocated to Image and deploy new computers.
Image computer.
Allocate new users in Inventory
Contact users and assist with data transfer
Complete computer swap or ship equipment
Last 30 days - allocated to Decomissioned equipment - data removal
Identify equipment in storage for removal
Document equipment for Drives that have been wiped out or destroyed.
