We are an IT Support Services company providing support to government and commercial entities.

Position Overview:

Supports and ensures Oracle database performance, availability and security.


Responsible for exercising sound judgment and decision-making in providing support for data storage for ESRI ArcGIS products, financial systems, and other applications for a USG agency.

Develop and manage data in geodatabases using SQL, Oracle, and other database systems.

Work with GIS developers to integrate system enhancements with current and future database structures.

Install new versions of the Oracle RDBMS and associated tools

Plan and implement backup and recovery of Oracle geodatabases

Provide technical support to application development and system administration teams

Troubleshoot database issues during system enhancement and sustainment.


U.S. Citizen

Must be able to pass a background check

B.S. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Minimum nine (9) years’ experience of relevant experience with GIS systems or equivalent; M.S. Degree will be substituted for up to four (4) years’ experience

Thorough knowledge of OS and physical database design

Experience with ArcGIS, Creator or 3D Studio Max or Oracle Spatial database

Experience designing and implementing ESRI Enterprise ArcSDE geodatabases

Experience troubleshooting and optimizing database queries

Proficiency operating in UNIX/Linux and Windows operating system environments.

Excellent knowledge of Oracle backup and recovery scenarios.

Good skills in all GIS and Oracle tools.

Thorough knowledge of Oracle security management and knowledge of how Oracle acquires and manages resources.
