Position Summary Our client is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to help drive business development, lead generation, and revenue growth for a rapidly expanding sales organization.

This individual will serve as a key pre-sales champion, identifying new opportunities, managing inbound and outbound sales activity, and supporting Regional Sales Managers across the U.S.

The ideal candidate will be confident in communicating with law enforcement professionals, government officials, and other public sector stakeholders while possessing a strong understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities Sales Development & Lead ManagementDevelop and maintain a working knowledge of client’s hardware and software solutions.Identify potential clients through research, outreach, and “cold calling.”Manage and track incoming leads via phone, email, and online platforms.Qualify leads and schedule product demonstrations with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs).Conduct product presentations and support pre-sales processes to ensure prospect engagement.

CRM & ReportingUpdate customer records and maintain accurate forecasting in the company’s CRM system.Forecast and report on ongoing sales and pipeline activity.Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop inbound lead handling processes and measure ROI.

Collaboration & CommunicationPartner closely with RSMs to coordinate outreach, share leads, and support closing efforts.Communicate regularly with leadership to discuss progress, opportunities, and challenges.Participate in trade shows, conferences, and events throughout the U.S.

to promote our client’s solutions.

Cross-Selling & Continuous ImprovementIdentify and pursue opportunities for cross-selling and upselling existing accounts.Contribute to the development of sales tools, presentations, and content that enhance the sales process.Continuously improve sales techniques and share best practices with peers.

Qualifications2–3 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally within the law enforcement, technology, or public safety industries.Proven success in a Business Development Representative (BDR) or Sales Development Representative (SDR) capacity.Experience with electronic security or traffic enforcement systems (e.g., ALPR, ASE) preferred.Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Excellent written and verbal communication; confident speaking with law enforcement professionals.Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Insightly, Salesforce, or HubSpot).Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote/hybrid environment.Law enforcement background or experience selling to government agencies preferred.
