Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Front Load Driver to join our team and drive the success of our waste management operations. As a Front Load Driver, you will be responsible for operating specialized front loader trucks to efficiently collect and transport waste materials from commercial and residential sites. Your role is vital in maintaining smooth collection schedules, ensuring safety standards, and providing excellent service to our clients. Duties

Operate front loader trucks to load and unload waste containers at various commercial and residential locations with precision and care

Safely drive heavy-duty trucks including rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers as needed for different collection tasks

Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical safety and compliance with regulations

Load, secure, and unload waste materials manually or using truck-mounted equipment, demonstrating heavy lifting capabilities

Maintain accurate records of daily routes, loads, and service reports while adhering to company policies and safety protocols

Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate pickups, report issues, or address customer concerns promptly

Follow all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and environmental regulations during operations to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial driving, especially with front loader trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles

Strong mechanical knowledge of truck systems and maintenance procedures

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission preferred

Ability to operate various trucks including rear loaders, roll-offs, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers confidently

Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly throughout the shift

Knowledge of load & unload procedures using manual or mechanical means in compliance with safety standards

Excellent driving skills combined with a proactive approach to safety and vehicle maintenance
