Night Shift Supervisor

Job Description

The Night Shift Supervisor oversees a medium-sized team of 6 to 15 employees within a manufacturing environment during 10-hour night shifts. This role involves managing shift operations, ensuring quality control, and maintaining efficient equipment function, particularly related to cold heading processes. The supervisor reports directly to the operations manager and may occasionally be required to work overtime to support production demands.

Responsibilities

Manage night shift operations and coordinate team activities

Ensure adherence to quality control standards throughout the shift

Monitor equipment performance, including setting up cold heading machines

Generate accurate shift reports for the operations manager

Supervise and support a medium-sized team of 6-15 employees

Address and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime

Be available for occasional overtime to meet production goals

Required Qualifications

Experience with cold heading machinery and related processes

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience in shift supervision within manufacturing
