Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) with a strong foundation in Data Engineering or Data Architecture to lead delivery across a large-scale Data Hub and analytics ecosystem.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role, combining:

75% Technical Leadership

25% Project & Delivery Management

You will work closely with a Product Manager, focusing on improving engineering team throughput, removing blockers, and ensuring delivery—not just planning.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Leadership (Primary – ~75%)

Lead data engineering and analytics initiatives, including:

Data Hub enhancements

Semantic layer development

Provide hands-on technical guidance across a team of ~22 members:

Data Engineers

BI Developers

Data Analysts

QA Engineers

Work across onshore and offshore teams (PST overlap required)

Guide architecture decisions, best practices, and technical direction

Manage technical workstreams across:

Snowflake

SQL Server

Cloud-based data platforms

Review and prioritize backlog items and technical tasks

Step in to resolve blockers and ensure smooth execution

2. Project & Delivery Management (~25%)

Own Agile delivery processes:

Sprint planning

Backlog grooming

Daily standups

Manage workflows using:

Jira / Azure DevOps

Confluence

Drive accountability and ensure consistent delivery velocity

Oversee end-to-end execution:

Requirements Development QA Deployment

Align engineering output with product priorities in collaboration xywuqvp with the Product Manager

Required Qualifications

Strong background in Data Engineering or Data Architecture

Experience working with:

Snowflake

SQL / SQL Server

Cloud-based data platforms and pipelines

Proven ability to drive execution and delivery, not just manage plans

Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies:

User stories

Sprint ceremonies

Backlog management

Experience with:

Jira or Azure DevOps

Confluence

Strong SQL skills (basic assessment expected)

Ability to push teams constructively and improve delivery velocity
