QA Engineer

Job Summary We’re looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with 3+ years of experience who can ensure our products meet high quality standards. You’ll be responsible for testing applications, identifying bugs, and working closely with developers to ship reliable and user-friendly software.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts

Perform manual and automated testing of web and/or mobile applications

Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools

Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues

Conduct regression, functional, integration, and performance testing

Participate in requirement analysis and provide QA feedback early in the cycle

Ensure software meets quality standards before release

Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies

Required Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of experience in software testing/quality assurance

Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC

Experience in manual and automation testing

Familiarity with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.)

Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured)

Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)

Understanding of test case design techniques

Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

Programming knowledge (Java, Python, or JavaScript)

Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

Experience in Agile/Scrum environments

Knowledge of mobile testing (Android/iOS)

Exposure to security testing basics

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
