Forklift Operator

Job Description

Mancan is working with a company in Baltic seeking a forklift operator for their shipping department. This is a temp to hire opportunity. Pay is $18 per hour. Hours are on a rotating schedule. One week 7am-3pm and the next week 8am-4pm.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

- Unload incoming shipments from trucks and verify contents against purchase orders and delivery documents.

- Inspect materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues promptly.

- Accurately record received goods in inventory management systems.

- Transport materials to designated storage areas or production lines.

Qualifications:

- Valid driver license and a clean driving record

- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and labels.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
