Role Overview
As a Tooling Project Engineer, you will oversee tooling projects from concept through production, ensuring quality, efficiency, and ontime delivery. You’ll collaborate with crossfunctional teams, manage timelines, and support tooling design, fabrication, and optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Develop project plans, timelines, and tooling requirements
Oversee tooling design, fabrication, and validation
Conduct inspections to ensure tooling meets quality and performance standards
Troubleshoot tooling and process issues; implement corrective actions
Communicate project updates to internal teams and stakeholders
Analyze tooling performance data to drive improvements
Support continuous improvement initiatives across tooling and manufacturing processes
Qualifications
Plastics injection molding experience required
5+ years of experience in tooling, engineering, or related manufacturing roles
Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or similar)
Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Effective communication and crossfunctional collaboration abilities
Proactive approach to troubleshooting and quality improvement
