Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher to support students in a full-time role within a collaborative school environment in Edgewood, TX. This position offers the opportunity to work with students with diverse learning needs and support their academic and behavioral growth.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct special education instruction to assigned students
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
Modify and adapt instructional materials based on student needs
Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Support positive behavior interventions and classroom engagement
Required Qualifications
Active Special Education Teaching License in Texas (required)
Strong knowledge of IEP development and compliance
Ability to work collaboratively in a school setting
Strong communication and organizational skills
