Nurse Practitioner – Infusion Services (Outpatient Setting)
About the Role
This position focuses on the safe and effective administration of infusion therapies, including biologics, antibiotics, hydration, vitamins, iron, and steroids. You will be involved in the full patient care journey—from assessment and treatment to education and follow up—ensuring continuity of care and excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions
Deliver patient and family centered infusion care with a strong emphasis on safety and comfort
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and health management
Maintain accurate, timely documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Advocate for patients and support them in navigating the healthcare system
Contribute to the development and enhancement of clinical practices and protocols
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (APRN) and Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current board certification (ANCC or AANP)
Valid CPR certification (BLS minimum, with hands on assessment)
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a clinical setting
OR
3+ years as a Registered Nurse in oncology, ICU, ER, or infusion services
Strong IV/infusion therapy experience required
Proven ability to manage patients with complex acute and chronic conditions
