At Ability Beyond Barriers, our Residential Services LPNs provide hands-on, person-centered nursing care in home-like community settings—supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and brain or spinal cord injuries.

As a Residential Services LPN, you are a vital part of an interdisciplinary team focused on health, safety, dignity, and community inclusion. Your work will include:
Providing person-centered nursing support aligned with Individual Service Plans
Administering and overseeing medications and treatments within LPN scope
Monitoring health status, recognizing changes in condition, and escalating concerns appropriately
Coordinating and participating in medical appointments and care transitions
Supporting infection control, nutrition, and environmental safety in residential settings
Training and coaching Direct Support Professionals on health-related protocols
Completing accurate, timely nursing documentation to meet regulatory standards
This position is designated as an Essential Employee, ensuring continuity of care during emergencies and inclement weather.What We’re Looking For
Graduate of an approved Practical Nursing Program
Current South Carolina LPN license in good standing
Experience in residential, long-term care, or I/DD services preferred
Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between residential sitesPay & Exceptional Benefits
