Job Description

We are seeking a Skilled Carpenter/Installer for a balcony and breezeway renovation project. This role requires precision and organization to install metal post systems and railing kits, following drawings and instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

Install metal posts on balconies and breezeways with precise leveling and alignment.

Ensure correct posts are installed in designated locations.

Assemble railing kits consisting of multiple components.

Cut threaded rods to specified lengths and install according to specifications.

Secure posts using nuts and bolts, ensuring proper torque and alignment.

Maintain organization of materials, hardware, and work areas.

Follow provided drawings and installation plans meticulously.

Work efficiently while upholding quality and safety standards.Essential Skills

Experience in construction, blueprint reading, carpentry, or installation, particularly with metal or railing systems.

Proficiency in accurately reading a tape measure.

Ability to level and plumb posts and components effectively.

Experience with nuts, bolts, and hardware systems.

Comfortable assembling kits and following step-by-step installation processes.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a crew.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Saws and major power tools are provided, creating a supportive environment for skilled carpenters and installers.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Mount Pleasant, SC.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
