Job Summary:
Design, develop and maintain electronic and software-based test systems used to characterize and automatically test infrared detectors and readouts. Generate and monitor tester and product performance using SPC methods and principals. Work closely with product development to ensure test capability is delivered to meet program needs and timeline. Author / assist with yield improvement projects and goals.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Define, create, assemble and configure automated test equipment (ATE)
Hands-on debugging and validation of test software and hardware
Validate performance of new hardware designs against requirement documents
Create project timelines, test procedures and validation plans.
Analyze test data and generate reports
Design / review analog and digital circuit designs
Research / develop / recommend new test hardware relating to high speed analog and digital acquisition.
Assist engineers and technicians in the performance of related duties.
Job Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of related experience in testing electronic hardware systems
Familiarity with Verilog, Xilinx ISE, Quartus FPGA development tools
Working proficiency in C#, Visual Basic, Python, MATLAB
Experience with ATE, especially with automated wafer probing.
Knowledge of infrared detector Bolometer and cooled ROIC functionality a plus
