Use your CNC mastery to set up, prove out, and optimize multi-axis milling on complex metallic and composite components that demand tight tolerances for aerospace and defense customers. What you will do
Execute setups on 4- and 5-axis CNC machining centers per setup sheets, selecting and staging required tooling.
Follow routers, manufacturing process plans, engineering prints, and verbal guidance under moderate supervision.
Verify features using handheld measurement tools; adjust as needed to achieve spec.
Read/edit G & M code and, when appropriate, create programs at the control.
Download/upload programs at the machine and maintain proper revision control.
Complete router documentation after each successful operation before moving parts forward. Shift options and differential
1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 10-hour days starting at 5:30 am; typical 50-hour work week with OT.
2nd Shift: Flexible schedules available — 4x10, 5x10, or 4x12. 2nd shift includes a 25% pay differential. Qualifications
High school machine trades program preferred.
Demonstrated G & M code experience with the ability to read and edit.
Proficient drawing interpretation and practical GD & T knowledge.
Mechanical aptitude and strong spatial visualization. Technical strengths
