About the Position

IMCO is seeking a highly skilled and experiencedCivil General Foreman to oversee daily operations on our Oxbow Spillway project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil work, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record in supervising crews to complete projects on time and within budget. A successful foreman candidate will be a motivating field leader, a professional communicator, and will uphold company policies and values.

Compensation and Benefits

Wage $48-52 an hour - Depending on experience

Medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage is available on the first day of the month following 60 days of employment.

401(k) match on eligible wages and is available for eligible employees on the first of the month following 60 days of employment. IMCO offers 100% contribution matching up to 4% of the employees eligible wages.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate site activities, ensuring safety and quality standards are met

Manage and direct civil crews and subcontractors

Assist in timecard processing

Ensure efficient use of materials, labor, and equipment

Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Monitor project progress and report to the site/project manager

Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Assist in scheduling, planning, and resource allocation

Project location, details, and commitments

Location Oxbow, Oregon

Housing options are limited due to the remote location, and company-provided housing is also limited.

Per diem is available for those who provide their own accommodations, such as a trailer.

810-hour shifts

Requirements and Qualifications

2+ years of civil experience in a civil construction supervisory role

Current and valid drivers license, free of any major violations, with correct endorsements when applicable

Proven leadership and team management skills

Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and practices

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to work in adverse weather conditions andat heights
