CT/PET Technician

Job Description

PAY: $82-$85/hrPOSITIONS ARE LOCATED IN ROCHESER, NY.

CT tech position is 7p-7:30a Friday-Sunday, 2-3 on call shifts/month

PET/CT tech position is 7a-3:30p or 9:30a-6:30p Monday- Friday

WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced and dedicated CT and CT/PET Technician to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

Conducting CT scans and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.

Reviewing and verifying physician orders while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Preparing and administering contrast materials as necessary, monitoring patients for any adverse reactions.

Collaborating with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging results, positioning patients effectively for optimal image quality.

Maintaining imaging equipment and ensuring compliance with departmental standards.

Accurate record-keeping and documentation of procedures performed.

Participating in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

AART certification required

NNMTCB certification required

CNMT certification required

Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT imaging preferred.

Strong understanding of radiographic positioning and techniques.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
