Job Description

The Corporate Quality Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring product, process, and supplier quality across the organization. Operating as a standalone position within a cross-functional management team, this role leads quality management initiatives, compliance monitoring, and process improvements while coordinating audits and managing supplier quality. The manager analyzes quality data, reports findings, and ensures adherence to regulatory standards, supporting the company’s commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Lead corporate quality management and process improvement initiatives

Monitor compliance with regulatory and quality standards

Coordinate internal and external quality audits

Assess and manage risks related to quality processes

Oversee supplier quality to maintain standards across the supply chain

Analyze quality data and generate reports for management review

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality solutions

Utilize ERP systems and quality management software to track performance

Travel occasionally (up to 10%) to support quality initiatives

Implement quality control training

Provide recommendations to Engineering for improvements

Formulate, document and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives to ensure continuous improvement of products, processes and profitability

Create, document and implement inspection criteria and procedures

Conduct GR&R

Assist in processing, developing and implementing corrective actions for the root cause of internal and external process failure modes

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly non-conforming material process

Must be proficient in all computer applications

Preferred Qualifications

8+ years of experience in quality management

Must read drawings and blueprints

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field

Certified Quality Manager (CQM) credential

Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality assurance principles

Expertise in root cause analysis and statistical process control

Experience managing audits and ensuring regulatory compliance

Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Project management proficiency
