Oversee the design and analysis of stormwater systems using Civil 3D and hydrology software, perform pipe sizing, drainage area mapping, and hydraulic grade line evaluations in compliance with applicable standards.
Develop grading plans that ensure efficient earthwork balancing, site safety, and compliance with engineering best practices and design slope requirements.
Plan and design stormwater, sanitary sewer, water, gas, and communication utility systems, including pump stations, and identify and resolve vertical and horizontal utility conflicts.
Design erosion control measures, perform stability calculations, and establish construction sequencing using best management practices to maintain environmental compliance.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for site improvements to support bonding requirements and client budgeting.
Take an active role in mentoring engineers, reviewing design work, and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
