Shift and Schedule Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm

Tate Technology Inc. is a growing Contract Electronics Manufacturing company that has been established in Spokane for over 30 years. We currently have an opening for a Receiving Clerk / Material Handler. The current Receiving Clerk / Material Handler is retiring after 22yrs. This position will be Full-Time 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday – Friday.

The individual should have some experience in stockroom, shipping and receiving.

Duties include:

Incoming shipment verification, inspecting and comparing incoming goods with packing lists, purchase orders or invoices

Recording inventory data into computerized systems (ERP, Excell)

Put away received inventory into designated locations

Storing items in designated locations and ensuring orderly stock room conditions

Assist with kitting, physically pull components from stock and verify materials against pick list

Counting and adjusting inventory that is returned from production

Put away received inventory and returned inventory from production floor.

Other duties as assigned

Competencies

Computer skills for use of inventory management system, ERP

Ability to verify, read and write manufacturers Alphanumeric part numbers

Perform basic mathematical functions in the course of receiving and kitting

Use some basic hand tools, tweezers, clippers

Operate hand truck, pallet jack and other equipment to move materials

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee will frequently be required to walk, sit, stand, bend, and twist. They will frequently lift up to 15 pounds, occasionally lift up 30 pounds, and rarely lift up to 50 pounds. This position also requires occasional crouching, kneeling, repetitive motion, grasping, and reaching above shoulder level.

Pay: $17.13 -$19.00 per hour per hour based on applicant’s work experience and skill set.
