Job Description
Fritcher Construction Services is seeking a CDL Driver who will safely and efficiently deliver equipment and material to jobsites in a professional and timely manner. The ideal candidate should be familiar with established safety protocols. Ensure that all required paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner. Driver should have strong experience in this field and be able to perform all aspects of assigned projects, including but not limited to:
Perform daily pre-trip inspections and maintenance checks on the truck
Ensure the truck is equipped with all necessary tools and equipment for the job
Follow all safety procedures and regulations while driving and operating the truck
Report any mechanical issues or accidents to management immediately
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to water truck driving and operation
Requirements:
Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Have a safe driving record verified by Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
At least 2 years of experience in driving heavy vehicles
Physical fitness to perform duties such as climbing in and out of the truck, lifting chains, and performing basic maintenance tasks
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to driving and operating the truck
Effective participation in a team environment
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions
A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude
Possess physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas
Remain flexible as specific assignments change
Ability to lift 40 pounds
