Job Description
The Senior Manufacturing Process Technician operates and troubleshoots highly automated packaging and assembly equipment in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment. This role supports the production of life-impacting medicines by ensuring equipment runs safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices. You will work with advanced technologies, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and help maintain the highest standards of product quality while developing your skills in a growing, innovation-driven organization.
Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot automated manufacturing and packaging equipment under limited supervision, consistently meeting safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
Maintain machine uptime by clearing faults and stoppages on automated equipment and promptly addressing issues to minimize downtime.
Operate equipment used for automated assembly, labeling, printing, and robotic automation, ensuring reliable and consistent performance.
Perform routine manufacturing operations, including dispensing raw materials, reconciling materials, performing line clearances, conducting basic analytics, and recording transactions accurately.
Use human–machine interfaces (HMIs) to identify alarms, diagnose issues, and correct line stoppages to maintain continuous production.
Ensure components and materials are available at the line to support uninterrupted operations and efficient workflow.
Conduct equipment inspections and generate emergency, corrective, or preventive work orders as needed to maintain equipment reliability.
Troubleshoot mechanical errors, safety issues, and general operating inefficiencies within production processes, and identify potential solutions.
Partner with cross-functional teams to drive improvement opportunities and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Follow standardized operating procedures for material handling, record keeping, assembly, and packaging while strictly adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Use computer systems, including material inventory systems and SAP, to perform transactions, support inventory accuracy, and manage electronic batch records.
Review and assist with documentation for assigned areas, including procedures, job plans, logs, area audits, and batch records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Serve as a training resource by training fellow staff on manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and general procedures.
Report any discrepancies, equipment issues, or safety concerns to the appropriate leadership to ensure quality standards and safe operations are always maintained.
Support operations on non-standard shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by business needs.
Contribute to a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement by maintaining excellent attention to detail, organization, and accountability.
Qualifications:
Must have at least a High school diploma or GED
Must have at least 2+ years of experience working in a GMP or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.Job Type & Location

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $29.00/hr.
