Position Overview

A healthcare facility in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a 26-week locum assignment. This role offers a consistent 3x12 schedule within a medically directed anesthesia care team. Ideal candidates are comfortable managing a broad surgical case mix and working collaboratively in a high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia across a range of surgical procedures in a medically directed model

Collaborate with physician anesthesiologists and surgical teams to ensure safe, effective patient care

Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia care plans

Monitor patients intraoperatively and manage post-anesthesia recovery

Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Follow all safety protocols and regulatory standards

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of recent CRNA experience required

Graduate of an accredited nursing program and nurse anesthesia program

Active Ohio RN license required

Valid Ohio Certificate of Authority as a CRNA required

ACLS certification required

Experience with general, vascular, neuro, urology, and trauma cases preferred
