Java Backend Developer Spring Boot & Microservices - Senior

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in building scalable backend systems using Spring and Spring Boot. The role focuses on designing and developing enterprise-grade RESTful APIs, driving microservices-based application development, and supporting cloud-oriented backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and modernization of scalable backend platforms using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot

Design and implement high-performance RESTful APIs and distributed backend services

Develop and enhance microservices-based applications with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability

Collaborate with engineering teams, DevOps, and business stakeholders to deliver robust backend solutions

Drive backend architecture improvements, application optimization, and system performance enhancements

Implement secure authentication and authorization workflows using JWT and OAuth2

Write production-quality, reusable, and maintainable code aligned with engineering standards and best practices

Participate in technical reviews, backend design discussions, and development process improvements

Troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize application stability and responsiveness

Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and cloud-based application workflows

Required Qualifications

10+ years of strong hands-on experience in Java backend development

Advanced expertise in Spring Framework, including Spring Core, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot

Extensive experience developing enterprise-grade RESTful APIs and backend services

Strong proficiency in Java 8+ and modern backend development practices

Deep understanding of Hibernate, JPA, and backend data access patterns

Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle

Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed application design

Experience with build automation and dependency management tools including Maven or Gradle

Familiarity with Git workflows and collaborative development environments

Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
