About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineering Manager (Android Architecture) to lead the design, development, and evolution of a cutting-edge Android platform powering next-generation connected systems
This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll shape architecture, guide global engineering teams, and influence the future of scalable Android-based platforms built on AOSP.
What you'll be doing
Lead the architecture of Android-based platform services and SDKs
Define scalable, modular, and future-proof system design patterns
Drive development across Kotlin, Java, C/C++ and Python
Collaborate with global engineering, product, UX, and hardware teams
Guide CI/CD, automation, and engineering best practices
Ensure security, privacy, and performance standards are met
Stay hands-on with code, reviews, and technical problem solving
Lead a distributed engineering team and grow technical talent
What we're looking for
10+ years in software engineering/architecture roles
Strong Android / AOSP / Android SDK experience
Proven experience leading engineering teams
Embedded systems / IoT / connected device exposure (nice to have)
Strong system design and architectural thinking
Ability to operate in complex, global environments
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
